A: …so uh… This livery’s going to be Lufthansa’s 100 year Anniversary livery, debuting on their Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
Q: what’s the registration?
A: D-ABPU. This aircraft isnt even commercially flying yet

Lufthansa’s first Boeing 787-9, D-ABPU, was first delivered in the 29th of August, 2022! Originally, this plane was to be delivered to Hainan Airlines, but it wasn’t taken up, Vistara later wanted it, but it too didn't take it. Eventually Lufthansa bought the already-built airframe.
