As of now the block system on this site is really weak. It only prevents the blocker and the blocked from commenting on each’s respective posts, but I’m pretty sure that’s where it ends. Correct me if I’m wrong but you can still mention them and view their profile. Can someone update the blocking system so that:
-You aren’t able to view forums, posts, or comments from the person you blocked (unless you really want to see it)
-Restricts ALL communication between the two people

I agree with what you say. But just one thing. Make what you said go both ways. Blocked person can’t see the person who blocked them posts anymore

@Inuyasha8215 Seeing as I know of at least one case of somebody using upvotes to harass through a block, probably a good idea.
So long as existing upvotes can still be removed, of course.

I cannot work out whether I agree or not.
You cannot tag someone who is blocked, and I figure that completely hiding someone's profile entirely is rather silly; you could simply log off to the same effect (just more annoying). I suppose a case could be made for not seeing their posts (craft, forums), but comments too? That'd just cause confusion as you'd be seeing half of conversations around the site.
Especially true when even the most obnoxious people can have something useful to say.
At the very least, hiding comments would better be an option by the blocker rather than something inflicted upon the blocked; Reddit's block system is not one that'd be wise to imitate.
