Chronology of the Islamic Republics (1948-2020)

1948-1960: The Bloody Birth
After World War II, the weakened metropolises began to lose control of their colonies.Between 1948 and 1956, a wave of forced decolonization led to the declaration of independence of six key States: Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Algeria, Morocco and Palestine. However, independence did not bring peace. The new borders drawn by the colonialists became the front lines. The era of the "War of all against all" begins – chaotic conflicts over resources, territory and ideological dominance between the young republics. The resulting power vacuum is being filled by tribal alliances, military juntas, and radical Islamist groups.

1961-1990: The Era of the "Iron Prophet", The First Leader of the GLA
In this chaos, in the early 1960s, a charismatic leader appeared - Sheikh Abdul Malek al–Hashimi, known as the "Iron Prophet." He was not the ruler of the state, but became an ideologist and a unifier. He proclaimed the doctrine of "Revolutionary Islamic Resistance" based on three pillars:

  1. Tawhid (Monotheism) as the basis of social and political life.
  2. Jihad as an obligatory struggle against any foreign influence (both Western and Soviet).
  3. Ummah (Community) as a form of socialism – community of property, mutual assistance and rejection of class division within Islamic society.

Al-Hashimi has never controlled a single state. Instead, he created the Brotherhood of Resistance (Al-Igaa)
, a network structure that became the prototype of the GLA. Al-Igaa supported local rebel groups, trained them, supplied them with weapons, and coordinated their actions against "infidel" regimes and foreign forces. At the peak of his influence, the "Iron Prophet" was the shadow ruler of much of the Middle East and North Africa. However, his death from illness in 1990 led to an instant collapse of the centralized leadership.

1991-2002: The "Great Schism" and the Clan War
After al-Hashimi's death, his "Brotherhood" splits into many warring factions, each of which declares itself the true heir to his cause. The period from 1991 to 2003 is known as the "Great Schism" or "War of the Clans."
It was during this period that the term GLA (Global Liberation Army) first appeared in Western intelligence reports as a common name for all these disparate but equally hostile groups.

Key factions that emerged from the ashes of Al-Igaa:

· The Army of the Seven Suns (the future state): the most organized faction controlling the Mesopotamian oil fields. Builds proto-governmental institutions.
· Jihad Brigades: Ultra-radical Salafists who accuse all other factions of apostasy.
· Legion of Scorpion: Mercenaries and smugglers specializing in guerrilla warfare and terror.
· "Children of Palestine": the struggle against Israel and its allies.

2003-2020: The Era of the "Nameless" – The Second Leader of the GLA and the Rise of the "Seven Suns"
The U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003 becomes the catalyst. The disparate factions of the GLA realize that they cannot stand alone against the new American army. A new leader emerges from the shadows, known only as the "Nameless One" (Al-Majhul). A former commander under the Iron Prophet, he has learned the lessons of the past. Instead of trying to unite everyone, he created the "Council of Commanders" (Majlis al-Kuwwad), which included the leaders of the most powerful factions.

The "nameless One" is not a prophet, but a strategist and tactician. His genius is that he allows each faction of the GLA to maintain autonomy and pursue their own tactical goals (be it terror in Europe, guerrilla warfare in Asia, or nation-building), coordinating them to achieve common strategic goals. He is the spider at the center of the web.

It was under his leadership that the "Army of the Seven Suns", under the leadership of its emir, completed the consolidation of power in Iraq, Syria and parts of Kurdistan, proclaiming the State of the Seven Suns (Daulat al-Sabaa Shumus) in 2012. It is the most developed and organized entity in the GLA area, with an almost regular army, its own military industry (production of UAVs, improvised IEDs, modified equipment) and a rigid social structure based on their interpretation of Sharia.

The Interweaving of C&C: Generals characters:

· Dr. Thairus is a former employee of the United Nations Iraq – Weapons of Mass Destruction program. After the 2003 invasion, disillusioned with Western politics, he was captured by the Scorpion Legion, but his intelligence was personally noticed by "Nameless." The doctor was provided with a laboratory and resources, and he became the chief scientist of the GLA, working for the "Council of Commanders", creating their chemical and biological weapons. He enjoys the patronage of the leader of the Seven Suns, who sees WMD as a "great equalizer."
General "Claws" Mohand is one of the oldest commanders, a veteran of the Iron Prophet. He embodies the old guard of the GLA – a brutal, straightforward master of guerrilla warfare. He despises the "upstarts" from the "Seven Suns" for their "bourgeois" ways, but is forced to obey the decisions of the "Council", since the "Nameless" guarantees

AHTUNG!!!! There are inconsistencies with the original ENT of C&C General's!!!
