now, unlike last time, i will not make some deep story kinda thing, just a few updates on the new bomber! also, it will now be a 2000 points special, so i will put more work into its thumbnail, unlike the minimal work i did for the SAK-1's and F/A-43s' thumbnail.
ANYWAY....
do any of you recall when i said id remake the weapon pods to be more stealthy? well i have, giving them a more hexagonal frontal profile, and angled surfaces to eliminate the right angle problem. (now, despite my inability to keep the drag reducing nosecone on them, they somehow have less drag? i didn't touch the XML setting for drag, its weird.)
it now has an auto tracking anti-ground gun! now, i'm still working on it, it currently snaps aggressively to the selected target and sometimes doesn't stay fully on track, but it has a camera view, and a powerful explosive shot. (Still deciding on whether or not i should make this thing rapid fire or not.)
brake warning lights have been installed to inform allies above, behind, and around you in formation that you are backing up, to prevent the large fatty from colliding with anyone mid-air.
added leading edge flaps and fixed canards and stabilizers code so that it does not graveyard spiral like it's first versions did! it used to spiral at any slightly above average AOA, but the limiting aspects of the stabilization keep it from exceeding that cap by lowering its turn rate from TutorialPlane to Escort Bomber.
to match its spade decal, i am making a new Wisterian squadron just for it! (no new livery on upload, that might be made later.)
