I was bored and decided to see what happens when the explosion scale for a bomb is set to the negatives and it doesn’t destroy anything or suck in stuff. It made time go a lot faster. I don’t know how to show pictures but it was confusing. No lag, just time seemingly speeding up.
I just replicated the scenario on PC and found that the time doesn't speed up, the game just doesn't know how a -1 explosion looks like and gets rid of the explosion animation REALLY fast.
So yeah it's definitely an original thought though and I don't know how if it is different on mobile devices.

Also If you mean the time cycle sped up… I got nothing..
that’s because clouds move faster or slower relative to your speed, the giant explosion probably caused your cockpit to send you flying at tens of thounsds miles per hour (or KPH idk) and since clouds aren’t 3d and are just a skybox there is no way to penetrate it which just makes it look like you made time go faster
