2:00am Local time:
Camanian States (CS):
In the north, communications and EWR systems are down completely, as EV forces were caught off guard and were unable to deploy electronic countermeasures in time. The SB-35s and their escorts began breaking formation and going to their designated targets. Each aircraft had enough conventional ordinance on board to disable a sizeable airbase. As the bombing commenced, few EV aircraft are able to takeoff before being destroyed, as they lacked any warning of approaching aircraft. Most EV craft in the air were lightly armed patrols, and tho they did some damage, they were horribly out matched and were unable to offer significant resistance to the attacking aircraft. Most losses were incurred during the withdrawal phase of the bombings.
CS Losses:
x2 F-30s
x3 FG-28s
x2 SB-35 Bombers
Lasa:
When Lasa forces arrived, the M-40s began assaulting EV air defenses, and even some ships. Eventually, fighters engaged in air to air combat, though most of the air combat was done by M-38s and M-52s.
A few TAE-II Gregs and 2 CS Jerichos also came with the carrier, and engaged light anti ship combat.
Simultaneously, 5 Jericho Class Battle Cruisers, escorted by 20 Longbow CGs, and Howard DDs, began Launching Cruise missiles at designated EV strongpoints after receiving word that EV's EWR systems and comms were down, over 300 missiles are fired at radar posts, coastal installations, defense stations, weapons and ammo depots, and naval ports. A short while after, the task force encounters EV ships, a fierce battle ensues 15 EV ships are destroyed along with multiple CS ships.
CS Losses:
x4 Destroyers
x6 Cruisers
x1 Battle Cruiser
4:00am Local time:
Lasa:
Meanwhile, the Radars and comms in the south were shut down by the HAC, allowing for M-40s to quickly strike before leaving, though some were caught up in combat, which they were able to win. M-52s took care of most targets with the Stand off L-R 10 missiles, and close quarter L-IR 7 missiles
M-38s followed a similar pattern, but with less success as they lacked stealth unlike the M-52s and M-40s
In the sea, a TAE-II Greg was sunk by Air fire, though it also sunk one of EVs ships
Lasa losses
3×M-38
1×TAE-II Greg
6:00am Local Time:
CS:
A second wave of 150 SB-35 Bombers and a combined total of 200 escort fighters consisting of FG-28s and F-30s, began sweeping the entire northern half of the country, bombing everything from military targets, to trade routes, to cities. The remaining CS ships follow suite, emptying their remaining missiles. There was virtually no significant resistance to CS forces in the north, as most effective EV military hardware is either too damaged or destroyed.
CS Losses:
x1 FG-28 (withdrew due to mechanical issues)
Lasa:
HACS, M-38s, M-40s, and M-52s continue bombing EV targets, but with less discrepancy, following suite with CS forces in the north. They targeted remaining military targets, factories, ports, naval stations, and any airfields missed by the first attack.
Summary:
CS and Lasa forces began their coordinated attack at 2:00am EVST (EV standard time), and over the course of the next 4 hours, effectively destroyed, disabled, or damaged beyond repair nearly 75% of EV's effective military hardware, bases, economic, and industrial centers. Fortunately, collateral damage was kept to a minimum as civil activities were yet to have begun when the bombings commenced, and many civilians were able to successfully evacuate major population centers before they were hit.
Unfortunately, nearly 400 servicemen and women from both Camania and Lasa are currently reported as MIA, and their fates are currently awaiting confirmation by allied forces.
An official Joint Statement from both the Lasa and Camanian governments justified the attack by saying this:
"Two weeks ago, a series of savage attacks on merchant shipping vessels, cost the lives of hundreds of innocent civilian sailors from many nations across the world. Recently, it was discovered the majority of those weapons, used against innocent sailors by the villainous ZV Corp, were supplied by none other than Europe's Vietnam. To supply war criminals, is and always will be, an act of war itself."
Europe's Vietnam is entitled to dispute the outcome should they so choose.
We love u @Mitterbin, its nothing personal, sorry❤
Camanian and Lasa officials are open to peace talks with Europe's Vietnam
