Feature Suggestion: Realistic Stealth Mechanics in SimplePlanes 2

Hello Jundroo team,

One of the most exciting aspects of SimplePlanes for me is designing stealth aircraft like the B-2 Spirit and B-21 Raider. However, currently, the concept of "stealth" in the game feels mostly visual, without any real impact on gameplay.

We believe that when we build a stealth aircraft, it should truly evade enemy detection. That means enemies should have radar systems—but those systems should fail to detect us if our aircraft is properly designed with low radar cross-section (RCS).

Right now, even with the most carefully built stealth planes, the "Warning" message still appears, as if there’s no difference between a stealth bomber and a regular fighter. This undermines the entire purpose of stealth design.

Here’s what we suggest:
- Introduce enemy radar systems that actively scan and detect based on RCS
- Add RCS parameters to parts and fuselage components
- If an aircraft successfully avoids detection, replace the "Warning" message with something like "Stealth Mode Active" or "Under Radar Cover"
- This would give players real feedback that their stealth design is working, and make stealth gameplay meaningful

With these changes, stealth wouldn’t just be a cosmetic feature—it would become a strategic and functional part of the game. Designing stealth aircraft would finally have real purpose and depth.

Thank you for listening to the community’s ideas.

Respectfully,
