Headline Clanker-0: Global Shutdown
UNVERIFIED / Third-party reports
A fast-moving digital contagion known as “Clanker-0” has reportedly swept the internet and critical infrastructure, triggering a cascade of catastrophic failures across multiple sectors. Initial device crashes spread in hours to systemic collapses, data leaks, transportation disasters, power plant meltdowns, and a financial shock that erased the meaning of money almost overnight.
According to scattered eyewitness accounts and preliminary forensic chatter, the virus first crippled consumer and enterprise electronics en masse. Within a short window, highly connected systems began failing in ways that went beyond simple crashes or ransomware, secure servers and government databases were exposed, troves of sensitive state and personal data were published, and once stable networks devolved into chaos.
Civil transportation bore some of the early reports. Multiple aircraft experienced sudden electronic shutdowns or erratic control inputs, several crashed, and some planes glitched in flight reportedly impacted urban areas while engines were stuck at high throttle. Trains and road traffic systems suffered cascading control errors, producing large scale collisions and gridlock in major urban centers. Emergency responders, hampered by their own compromised communications, struggled to coordinate rescue and triage.
Power infrastructure was also affected on a global scale. Several reactors and large generating stations reportedly went into critical fault states as control systems were overloaded or corrupted, at least some sites subsequently suffered severe damage consistent with core failures, while electricity supplies plunged in wide swaths. This caused power outages in almost the entire world simultaneously except in countries that use analog powerplant technology. Governments and grid operators describe the event as a simultaneous shock to supervisory control and data acquisition systems in multiple jurisdictions, an outcome that compounded the chaos on streets and in hospitals.
Financial infrastructure did not escape. Clanker-0 reportedly infected core banking systems, corrupting transaction ledgers and triggering runaway printing and disbursement routines. ATMs around the world began dispensing massive sums uncontrolled, account balances ballooned into the trillions for ordinary customers. The result was instant hyperinflation, currencies collapsed almost overnight, markets froze, and monetary value evaporated despite physical piles of cash appearing on city streets.
Workplaces went dark as servers and office systems failed. Large scale layoffs followed because entire industries were immobilized, paradoxically, many people found themselves technically “wealthy” on paper while the money around them was worthless. Social order frayed quickly. Looting, opportunistic crime, and mass unrest spread through metropolitan areas already reeling from transport disasters and failing infrastructure.
A notable and deeply polarizing detail in the aftermath, military networks appear, in many reports, to have been largely unaffected. The public is confused, a virus that managed to break through the tightest security in safest bank cannot affect the simplest military network like radio? That discrepancy has become a political flashpoint.
Governments reacted in the now familiar manner, public accusations directed at Zoryavolkov Corporation (Z.V.Corp). Officials in several countries contend that only an actor with the rumored AI capabilities of Z.V.Corp could orchestrate a cross sector digital offensive of this breadth. Z.V.Corp, as with prior incidents, has offered no comment and remains silent.
That silence has intensified a volatile counter narrative. A vocal and growing movement of citizens refuses to accept the Z.V.Corp explanation. These groups argue the corporation is a convenient fiction, invented or amplified by states to deflect blame for systemic failures and covert programs gone wrong. They point to the series of alleged Z.V.Corp actions, the submarine sinkings, the sudden ocean “cleaning,” and now a world swallowing virus, as implausible as a single entity’s campaign, especially against technologically powerful states. For them, Clanker-0 is another piece of a cover story, for authorities, denialism risks complicity.
Cybersecurity analysts caution that short term attribution is notoriously unreliable, malware can be masqueraded, false flags are common, and evidence can be spoofed or erased. For now the facts are a mix of verified calamities and fast spreading rumor. What is indisputable is the scale of disruption, collapsed transport networks, devastated power systems, a financial system rendered functionally meaningless, and societies pushed toward violence while core institutions struggle to respond.
Z.V.Corp has issued no statement. Investigations continue in multiple jurisdictions, but experts warn recovery will be slow and costly, technically, economically, and socially. In the fog of this global outage, truth, blame, and motive remain contested, certainty has been replaced by fear and accusation, and the world watches as investigators try to stitch together what little reliable evidence remains.
This Build Is For SPWithLizzie's RP
@RB107
Also, I've made
THIS
post as a poll to see if the events described in this forum post become canon Orr not
As they're simply too absolutely bonkers to go unnoticed
(You should pin this btw)
reading class lessons : 0%
reading this : 100%
@RB107
Yea fair XD
@SPWithLizzie Learning English in ordinary way will only build ordinary english skills. So, learning in an extraordinary way will certainly give extraordinary results!
@RB107
I don't really know about removing people, as it's a little rude in my opinion
But I feel like this is too far
Look, ZV corp was a very interesting idea
An underground (or underwater :3) ring of autonomous submarines, and I feel like this could have been the plot for an epic war scenario, where there are kickass cinematic scenes, lots of twists and allat
But I feel like this is a bit too far, so I'm hesitant to say if it's canon, I'll have to hear other ppl's opinions first, then I'll act
.
Also I don't think you should be trying to ruin this RP, and RPs in general
I get that you're young, and that's why I've been cutting you so much slack this whole time, maybe you're just having a bit of fun
But this RP has a lot of other people who'd like to enjoy it, and I want to keep it that way
(Also there are Def better ways to learn English)
@Mitterbin Thank you!
@SPWithLizzie Well you are the onwer of the RP you can just erasing Z.V.Corp if you want, its very eazy bacause it just rumors and has no physical form. If i can write crazy stuff then you can too and i will just: "Well then." Just think me as Eazy person and you will realize all my scenario is just a stupid way to ragebaiting
(  ̄▽ ̄)
.
And lately i been thinking about what's the best way to destroy the world and so i experiment with this RP. I also want to write some stuff in english to improve my English learning. I not meant to ruin someone's day, i just bored (thats why its dangerous to let me bored) :3
That so cool
That's rlly well written :D
Also, I have a few things
1: What the actual ♥♥♥♥???
Everything you've done is gen. Illogical and stupid
You build submarines from sunken ship parts and when/if someone destroys your rust bucket submarine you go "Nuh uh I'm gonna capture it and rebuild it teehee X3X3"
You literally commit war crimes then disappear and go "Nuh uh you can't catch me teehee"
Then you pull some actual top tier magical DnD NAT 20 f♥ckery like THIS?
This is literally the KE-RP fallout situation, and I'm gonna have to be the @B1BLancer of here. Actually, I would've kinda enjoyed a duo world fallout situation, robot zombie fighters, countries controlled by mutants and an endless war, that sounds sick!
Sorry, got off track
Also
IF IT ISN'T DOEN BY ZV CORP, YOU AREN'T ALLOWED TO WRITE ABOUT IT.
Basically, you imply that ZV corp wasn't the one that caused this bullsh♥t, and while yes, you could maybe write a country's response to an attack, but you have to keep it short, brief, realistic and open to interpretation by the countr(ies) that you attacked
Like I'm gonna bring myself back to KE. Lets say I nuke YourPan with a Molokoy TSR. I'm definitely not allowed to go "they surrendered and submitted to bell lands", but I'd be allowed to go "their forces in the Your-Upean territory have gotten weaker and less organized after the nuclear attack"
But one thing you 100,000,000,000% aren't allowed to do is write whole a$$ actions by other countries. Like if I write about Con attacking me even if AvLover said nothing about it. That simply isn't allowed.
