The MiK-29 and its interesting names/models

35.0k LettuceRob119  2 months ago

Designed by Mikhail Gromnskeiv Manufacturer plant, the MiK-29 was a revolutionary design for its time. Featuring new tech from built-in stabilizers, to the first Wzehkh rocket powered ejection seat rather than chucking the pilot out via a spring, like previous Wzehkh jet aircraft.
Though it wasn't without its fails, a bad radar, a simplistic hud (even for the 60s) and having its canopy unseal at high speeds. Heres the models there names, and what they fixed.
