The Wzehkh Eastern Republic

The Wzehkh Eastern Replace broke from the Wzehkh Independent Federation in 1999 which caused a brutal 2 year civil war nicknamed the "3 Day War" as the only progress was made in the last three days of the conflict which resulted in ultimately nothing.

Often considered the Pointless war by many nations the 3 days war ultimately achieved nothing but a huge casualty rate on both ends with the IND-FED suffering 30,000 casualties and the EAS-REP suffering 31,000 casualties total. The reason for the Pointless war was due to threats from the Wzehkh government passing a bill stating that the east could no longer vote as one state due to its size, and it would have to split into 4 language separated groups. Many Easterners feeling this a would result in there freedoms being removed first protested and threatened to burn down the Head of Government East building. Not wanting this the east decide to secede from the Federation and make there own Republic during May of 1999, understandably the Wzehkh government wasn't a fan and threatened war. When the newly formed Wzehkh Eastern Republic declared war back, a now shocked Wzehkh Independent Republic found itself in a new worthless war. Taking place from 1999 to 2001 the 3 days war or Pointless war or possibly the Goat War (a name given by the East meant to represent the way Wzehkh President Cramyv Valur looked) the war would accomplish nothing as when the East surrendered a part of there surrender included the fact that there new "country" would split into four regions for voting purposes.

The now "country" the Wzehkh Eastern Republic would later go on to suffer major economic downfall following a socialist regime and collapse 2002 and would return to the Wzehkh Independent Federation soon later. Despite this many Easterners are still very prideful of there attempt of freedom and still fly the Eastern Republic flag instead of the Independent Federations. Even there military considers them Independent using older cut uniforms and Eastern Republic Patches. Despite this seemingly lack of Unity the Easterners and Westerners seem to not care about these differences and hold a annual Reunification Celebration where both sides hold a huge parade and each side along the border flies the others flag for 24 hours. This holiday is known as East West day, and is a major holiday held on March 23rd
