I have decided to have some M o t i v a t I o n

on me F-14, thanks to that one guy from my previous forum post.

I do apologise for the delays because jesus Christ I keep losing motivation for no reason, I was so burnt out to the point I didn't even realise I was in that state.

Anyways, enough about me ranting motivation, Vergil wouldn't be too proud.

So, for beginners, I'm remaking the overall shape of my F-14, that includes the very rear part of the Lerx, The wings overall, probably whatever bulge on the side that contains the rear landing gears that hoist the Tailerons, the Rudder itself, the central fuselage that makes up the extra lift.

Now for why I suddenly had that brilliant idea?

From BaconEggs

Her lovely F-14B which I highly recommend downloading because this is one Helluva build even if it's unfinished, interior wise, heavily reminded back when I used to fly a lot in DCS, specifically with the F-14, and the model nearly nailed the flight model and flight characteristics of the F-14 Tomcat itself.

Beautiful Photo's btw of it :3

The model of her F-14 has certain points like for example, the rear parts of the Lerx, properly modelled compared to mine, including the wing's shape when it comes to the airfoil, instead of using one Hollow fuselage as a whole, she used splitting techniques to slowly form the Wing's airfoil, also adding details like the spoilers and of course, the Leading edge slats, there's more details I want to point out but You'll have to bare with me first while I remodel the F-14 a bit.

The Rudder, quite obviously One whole hollow fuselage.

I think you see the problem now, my F-14 has way too much dull round corners which Its starting to irritate me.

As for why it's.... coloured like that, the red and pink parts are my highlights on which I'm correcting, which you see, it's quite a lot.

My aim is to somewhat do what BaconEgg did to her model, but at the same time add my own twist, like extending from it.

Because if you compare the two strictly.

You'll notice why a lot of them are highlighted for replacement:

(this is one of the first instance, but I can't supply more images cuz me phone is dying)

I swear this pillock has too much transitions, it might aswell win the Red Bull Slopestyle events on one go.

And of course, I'm not going absolute ham on the part counts, I want it to be as yes, realistic as possible, looking accurate (somewhat), with barely the amount of part counts and performance costs.

Do mind, after this forum was uploaded, I started working on the F-14, little by little.

Hope ya enjoy my lil banter, and I'll see y'all aviators on the next post.

Up and go lads!
