The moderators don’t seem to realize that public slander is just that: public.
It’s not just between the agitator and the target, others can see it as well. Most importantly, others who may not know much about the target and may take what the agitator says as the truth.
Despite what the moderators may think, you can’t just “block” that problem away. If anything, it just leaves you unable to counter what somebody may be falsely saying about you.
