Yesterday, a prototype of the trainer GCI is making went for an emergency landing after a bird strike occured in the region of More-acko, next to the city of More-Ack-ich, woundering its two test pilots who tried to bring it back to the airfield.

With this incident, there can't be much done to fixe the bird strikes problems, but security level got risen and $20k was given in compensation to the each pilots, totalising 40k.

After their examination in the city's hospital, they were just shaken and scratched, but they will be able to fly normally again in few weeks, thanks to the prototype's good manœvrability at low speeds.

This crash was great to show GCI capacity to make not only powerful but also reliable vehicles.

Details of the crash:

The incident occured mid-flight, when they were testing the plane's top speed at under 2000ft, which reached 796kph. A good top speed, but can be way betted with a finer aerodynamic. After a minute at this speed, the pilots decided that the speed tests were enough, and proceeded with turn capacity.

After checking, they went for the turn, and then a bunch of birds appeared from behind, before the turn, they appeared in front of them and without having time to react, both engines swallowed 8 of them, disabling then engines and causing a temporary fire of 16 seconds, the time the Fire Supression System was activated by the rear pilot. The engines couldn't give any more thrust, so it ended with an emergency landing.
