Whenever I export a plane to print, I get tons of errors (non-manifold edges, naked holes, etc) and sometimes I can fix it but most of the time the model is way beyond repair. Is there a way to fix it?

Perhaps looking at the model in 3ds max, and making sure all the geometry is actually there. But other than that, this is a question for the 3d printing comunity. It could also be whatever printer you're using has a tendency to do this. I'd hit up redit pages for either 3d printing or the specific model of printer and see if you find your answer there.
