anyone know much about rc/model planes

For Product design technology (a class at my high school) this year I am looking at making a dc-3 rc plane, that does not need to fly as this is my first time, but it will be capable of taxiing under its own power.

This will be my first time building a rc/model plane and I have about 40 hours to make it.

At school we have a 3d printer( about 300mm x 300mm x300mm), some Balsa wood, some metal and some fabric.

As this is my first time making a rc/model plane I don't really know how I should go about making I would like it to be about 500cm to 1 m in wingspan with as much Detail as possible, I would as so like to have as many control surfaces to work (Flaps, rudder, ailerons, etc.)

I also need people to fill out this form for market research it should only take a few minutes and would really help a lot.

I know that I am asking a lot but any advice would be really helpful. thanks
