So yeah I was with my family just driving on the highway. I live in the the countryside so there is a lot of farms btw, anywho there was this small plane in the distance that was doing crazy stunts like loop the loops and tight turns, then he dived down at an insane speed and was hidden behind a tree line. My family was obviously shocked because the might’ve been the first plane crash we’ve witnessed (probably saw my first plane crash before I saw my first car crash lol), then we say the plane start gaining altitude and we were relieved.. I then started making way to the highway we were on an I saw a pretty good view of it, it looked like a: Yellow Bi-plane cropduster, bit chunky, kinda looked like an AN-2. Either way after the encounter I immediately scrambled to flight radar 24 to confirm that it was an AN-2, I looked in my area. Nothing. Pretty weird why a duster would crazy stunts like that.
Anyone would start going crazy if they had to live on a farm.
You gotta cut me some slack, IM NOT FROM CANADA!!!
@Subsere OH COME ON
@Randomplayer Oh for goodness sake.
Literally half of the ones you listed are cities.
Provinces are British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba (allegedly), Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island+, Newfoundland and Labrador. Four of those, BC, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec are the "important" ones, with 85% of the country's population.
Territories, which have no inherent sovreignty, are the Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. I wouldn't expect those to be known nearly as much, however, as their combined population is less than 150k.
+PEI is really only a province for historical reasons, with around 180k people.
Honestly I'm surprised you remembered Newfoundland (and Labrador) of all of them. I often forget it exists.
@Subsere ok so from what I remember there’s uhh, Newfoundland, Toronto, Quebec, Ontario, Vancouver, uhhh montreal, i remember my mother talking about Nova Scotia but I can’t remember if that’s in a different country.
@Randomplayer How do you not recognize the names of the largest subdivisions of your English-speaking neighbour? There's 9 of them, not counting tiny ones.
It's not like it's a maritime province.
I'm sure I could name a few dozen US states, if not necessarily place them on the map.
@Subsere yesss..? Also fuck I meant European town
@Randomplayer
I'm sorry, aren't you American?
@Subsere I searched up Saskatchewan because I thought it was a European country, and when I clicked images, the second image to pop up was a picture of a farm
@Randomplayer What did you just say
@Subsere LOL the second picture to come up when I searched was a picture of a f*rm
I just got back from Saskatchewan and I think if I see anyone even mention farmland again I’m going to hurl.
@Randomplayer aw rip😭
@Rb2h erm I live in the east🤓
Average day in the south
That's par for the coarse
@Randomplayer now that i think of it, chances are it's probably not an AN-2 but rather some other crop duster plane that's similarly bulky
@YarisHatchback same, although it might’ve been something else but it was going to fast to see
i didn't know that there are an-2's in your country
