wassup
as most of you probably know, my last craft was posted a month ago.
almost an entire cycle of the celestial body known as the moon has passed, and i still haven't posted lol
that, right there, is due to the fact that my 7-year-old iPad 5th Generation recently kicked the metaphorical bucket of obsolescence.
so, the device i use for creating and uploading crafts no longer exists, along with all 1284 of my SimplePlanes game files.
it's stuck in a bootloop, and everything i've tried hasn't worked.
it's useless to keep trying to fix it, as the battery isn't charging anymore and the device sadly no longer turns on.
in short, i probably won't end up getting a new iPad until around October this year, so i won't be posting any new crafts in that time.
so uh, stay tuned for random forum posts i guess?

Unless you specifically need an iPad, I'd recommend getting something that's actually feasible to repair and upgrade. At the very least, something with a removable SSD, that way if the rest of the device fails you can just remove the drive and transfer it over to something else.
If the main issue is cost, chances are you can find a used/refurbished laptop for substantially cheaper than a new iPad, and even if you couldn't, pitching in some extra money for something that's actually feasible to repair & upgrade is 100% worth it.
