Some yummy lore

If you are wondering about the origins of my made up aviation company(TAC), it started in the year of 1892, when the oldest ancestor of the company,Generic Dirigible Manufacturing was founded. They manufactured airships as cargo and reconissance vehicles until they merged with several other manufacturers in 1926. In 1927, as the company was facing financial issues and money loss from the Templatian Civil War, they had heard of the potential of airplanes as useful machines in the 1st World War roughly 9-10 years ago. This is when they started switching production to airplanes. Their first airplane was made of aviation fabric stretched over a wooden frame, and was comparable to a C182 in size. Over the years, they made more airplanes, using their old airship facilities to manufacture aircraft. They then started working on metal planes in the mid-30s, starting with metal frames with a fabric skin, and then metal skin with a metal frame. These new, metal aircraft, were well suited for high-speed impacts and were highly durable compared to their wood-and-fabric counterparts. Their first airliners were made at this time, starting with the PL-100, a 2 engined metal aircraft with capacity for 12 passengers, in a 1-1 configuration. 82 were manufactured. Placeholder Air Services (later Placeholder Airlines) operated half of those airframes, with 40 being sold to other carriers and 1 kept as a testbed, now kept at the Templatian Air Museum. To be continued…
