0200

At 0200 hours a ground-based Spinnish radar installation in Northern For-Rants detected a pair of aircraft over the Angle-Ish Channel. The aircraft were outside the bounds of SAM systems, and so two of the newest GB-11A Kite fighter aircraft belonging to the Fuerza Aérea de Españila were scrambled to intercept. The GB-11A is the most advanced and capable aircraft in the world at the moment, and are armed with two 20mm guns and four radar-guided semi-homing air to air missiles. From startup to takeoff, the entire process took place within 15 minutes. At supersonic speeds, the two aircraft progressed rapidly towards the unidentified targets. At 10 miles range, the onboard Track-and-Search-Electronic-Radar-Ve.4 (TASER-4) of the lead fighter detected and tracked the first target. At 7 miles range the radar identified the aircraft as a CA-412 Strikemaster II of the BE Navy. The first GB-11A pulled alongside the CA-412 to guide it away from Spinnish shorelines, whilst the second GB-11 positioned itself behind both CA-412’s in weapons envelope to prepare for an attack if necessary. The GB-11 attempted to make radio contact with the pilot of the lead CA-412, but this failed. All information was forwarded to Spinnish Ground Mission Command (SGMC). Both CA-412 Strikemaster II’s updated their respective courses to their aircraft carrier, and the GB-11’s first interception was a successful display of its quick response.

    @B1BLancer all i need is minimum G load, max range to match radar capacities and the time needed to reach the maximal distance. that'll be all.

    @B1BLancer
    Thanks
    The MJ-4S-2 has some similar characteristics
    •It can pull 10G's as well

    •It has IR missiles, which would require flares (I know there aren't IR missiles in the base game but none of your business)

    •It also excels in multirole capabilities, with the Anit Submarine Aerial Torpedo, a semi-active radio to sonar guided high explosive torpedo(this isn't saying that the Kite doesn't have multirole)

    •It has more guns

    •It's radar has a wide(r?) tracking cone, for very close quarter engagements

    BUT

    •It has a shorter range

    •It's slower

    •It isn't doing well in the export market, so far only flying in the R.B.A.F.

    @AviationLoverGEEK444 the Bell X-1 was a supersonic rocket plane in the mid 1940s, and the F104 was well beyond supersonic in 1954, the F86 Saber achieved speeds over 600 mph, and other aircraft achieved speeds around supersonic. We are years more advanced than irl at this time era already, so I feel the need to make a supersonic aircraft.

    @SPWithLizzie I will provide you with some of the information on the GB-11, declassified only though.
    The Guardian Aerospace GB-11A, nicknamed as the “Kite” is a very advanced aircraft capable of delivering mission objectives with high performance. The GB-11A was introduced on February 9th, 1950. It will see action with the Fuerza Aérea de Españila, the Armada Nacional de Españila, The Jerran Air Force, the Your-panese Air Force, and other operators. The main use of the GB-11 is to secure air dominance over any territory, and utilizing its great speed to intercept any enemy. It is armed with four MMD-1 radar-guided semi-homing air to air missiles with a range of 5 miles, and two 20mm guns. The missiles prove inaccurate at ranges within 0.5 miles, so missiles are not to be used in close quarters. The Guardian Aerospace GB-11A can hold a 10G sustained turn 360° at a 90° roll angle at 500 mph, that is already extremely impressive alone. In-air acceleration of this aircraft is also outstanding, and shows promising results. In dogfights, the GB-11A holds itself up even at high-G maneuvers and escapes. The GB-11A is also one of the only aircraft with countermeasures, which will defend itself from radar-guided and IR missiles. The Imperial Republic of Spin will use the GB-11A to provide excellent coverage of our airspace and wartime operations, and is the best aircraft in our inventory.

    @SPWithLizzie Did you see the RSM-41H? It's a missile truck. BR-145? It's an SPAA with 14 missiles. So we're actually catching up.

    I meant metaphorically
    Since UDD is behind most nations in missile tech, they need to catch up

    @B1BLancer
    I mean, the MJ-4 can probably outManeuver the GB-11
    Not to mention the Fox-2's, which the GB-11 has no valid CM's against (though the MJ-4S-2 has no CM's at all so I'll give ya that)
    The kite would definitely have a longer range radar, since it would serve interception roles (I think, I'm just basing it off of the fact that it looks like a starfighter), though the Lion has a wider tracking cone, and some ground tracking abilities, as it's multirole

    @SPWithLizzie CA-412 is the most advance fighter in our arsenal, to make them more advanced we just started arming them with missiles since January of 1950.

    @SPWithLizzie I'm also going to start arming my planes with missiles too. Using guns only is very obsolete.
