I'm not sure if this is just an issue with the settings I have for the joystick base, but I find that when I'm in VR and I look around while holding the controls, my virtual "hands" jerk around in the direction I turn my head. This usually happens when the hands leave the "field of view" of the lenses. I know this isn't a hardware issue because doing this in other games works fine.
This ends up being an issue in dogfights, because sometimes you need to turn your head around to see the bandit, but this almost always causes the plane to roll. You can theoretically just let go of the stick when turning around, but this won't let you maneuver according to what you see.
Is there a solution to this that I'm just missing?
@Lawpark25 completely reboot your oculus. I'll hop on later today and see if I can get the same thing to happen.
@StockPlanesRemastered I'm playing on the quest native app, I don't think my headset or the app has any updates though...
How are you playing? On the quest native app or are you connecting the headset to your pc? You may need to update your headset or the app.
