Following the cowardly and dishonorable betrayal by UDD under the insurgent President Charles de Perru Parkinson, the Republic of Spin has initiated immediate and precise retaliatory actions across multiple fronts.

Engagement in For-Rants

Our forces currently stationed in Spinnish-Occupied For-Rants launched a coordinated assault upon newly arrived UDD divisions attempting to reclaim lost territory. Operating under the protection of superior Spinnish air dominance, the GB-6 Gladiator squadrons and GB-9 Furia interceptors cleared the skies of hostile aircraft, paving the way for precision strikes. Elite mechanized units and CATV-1 Mules carrying infantry executed pincer movements to encircle enemy trenches, eliminating resistance in record time. Fortifications erected by the enemy were overrun within 36 hours.

Strategic Bombing Campaign: Lun-Dun and Key UDD Infrastructure

Under Operation Sol Ardiente, our high-altitude bomber fleet, including GB-8 Bullhorns and IKB-100s, carried out meticulously planned bombing runs against the UDD capital of Lun-Dun. Targets included rail junctions, oil depots, and munitions factories—all essential to sustaining the enemy war machine. Initial reports confirm destruction of 73% of industrial capacity within Lun-Dun’s eastern sector.

Additional sorties struck infrastructure in the UDD cities of Brixtol, Manchuria (not to be confused with Manchuria in Asia), and Port Sore, plunging logistics into chaos and leaving their mobilization crippled.

Triumph at Sea

Despite UDD claims, the truth stands clear and firm: the Republic of Spin dominates the seas.

During the infamous engagement now known as the Second Battle of the Azure Shelf, five Spinnish aircraft carriers—including the RSS Espíritu (teaser for next ship) —led a carrier strike group supported by over 200 RSS Conquistador destroyers and 30 RSS Madrid-class heavy cruisers. Our naval aviation, comprising GB-4NAD Screechers and GB-4NB Super Screechers, overwhelmed UDD fleets attempting to breach our coastal defense lines.

As for the supposed "devastating bombing" of our naval bases: this is misinformation. The bulk of the fleet remains operational, and repairs to affected facilities are already near completion.

UNCLASSIFIED MILITARY REPORT – REPÚBLICA DE ESPAÑILA

OPERATION FINAL NAIL
Issued: June 2nd, 1948
Location: Northern For-Rants Sector, Unified Command District

To: General Staff, Supreme Leader Churro Zapato, and all branches of the National Army, Air Force, Navy, and National Guard

The following is the official sequence and report of the final large-scale coordinated attack on UDD holdouts in Northern For-Rants, executed under the codename Operation Final Nail. The operation commenced at 0500 hours on May 31st, 1948, with the express objective of dismantling the last operational field armies of the Unity Ding-Dong forces west of the For-Rants river.

I. PRELIMINARY RECONNAISSANCE & AIR DOMINANCE

At 2300 hours, prior to the land assault, GB-9 Furia interceptors swept the skies over the Northern Sector, engaging and eliminating all remaining UDD reconnaissance aircraft. Within minutes, aerial superiority was declared. This opened the path for GB-6 Gladiators to fly multiple strike sorties, neutralizing previously undetected mobile AA batteries hidden in woodland positions.

With AA defenses largely suppressed, GB-4NB Super Screechers launched deep-penetration bombing runs into the main defensive trench line stretching from Creselux Forest to Mount Darnay. Hardened bunkers, pillboxes, and fuel dumps were incinerated under precision bombings.

By 0430, high-altitude IKB-100 bombers joined the attack, releasing payloads on entrenched depots and rail logistics. In parallel, GB-8 Bullhorns targeted suspected UDD command posts buried in the hills.

II. ARTILLERY PREPARATION & MISSILE STRIKES

At 0455, a synchronized barrage from mobile heavy artillery and KSR-1 tactical rockets began. Rocket salvos devastated UDD’s last-known resupply zone east of Valaux Ridge, while longer-range KSR-1 platforms decimated bridges and roadways, isolating UDD units from reinforcement or retreat.

Following this, forward observers confirmed that UDD field coordination collapsed entirely after the second wave of rocket impacts. UDD command signals ceased transmitting shortly after.

III. GROUND INVASION INITIATED: MECHANIZED BREAKTHROUGH

At 0500 sharp, Spinnish armored columns crossed the ignition line. The assault was spearheaded by:

GDAV-2A Kaiser heavy tanks, supported by
Panzer 345 Ausf. B medium tanks, and
LIMA-1A1 Badger light integrated tanks, clearing entrenched infantry.
Infantry elements were rapidly deployed from CATV-1 Mules, backed by CATV-2 Hauler logistical trucks, which maintained forward movement of ammunition, medical teams, and fuel under fire.

The 3rd Armored Legion, supported by LIMA-1A2 RAMA anti-air vehicles, pushed into the heart of UDD’s fortified zone, making use of their integrated high-caliber AA guns to eliminate lingering infantry resistance.

Flanking maneuver units deployed LIMA-1A1 Badger light integrated tanks to secure side roads, cut off retreating forces, and prevent encirclement of our own vanguard.

IV. AIR ASSAULT & INFILTRATION

At 0545, GBH-10 Kodiak helicopters, flying nap-of-the-earth patterns, infiltrated the remaining pockets of resistance behind enemy lines. Under heavy cover from GB-10 Falconet fighters, the helicopters landed elite troops of the 1st Airborne Encirclement Regiment — the same unit that encircled the Unity Ding-Dong beaches during the previous war with UDD.

These elite forces rapidly seized hilltop observation posts and artillery control zones, effectively severing UDD’s final ability to organize counter-barrages or reinforcements. Intercepts confirm UDD field commanders attempted to retreat into Creselux, but these were sealed by follow-up KSR-1 strikes.

V. NAVAL SUPPORT

Off the eastern coastline of For-Rants, just miles from the front, the Spinnish National Navy’s eastern strike force, including:

4 Himler-class aircraft carriers, including the RSS Espíritu, (another teaser)
30 Madrid-class heavy cruisers,
and over 150 RSS Conquistador-class destroyers,
held position and launched long-range fire into potential UDD fallback positions. Carrier-based GB-4NAD Screechers provided continued strike capability and intercepted 28 additional enemy aircraft attempting to flee or support the battlefield.

VI. AFTERMATH & OCCUPATION

By 0900 hours, all remaining organized UDD resistance in Northern For-Rants was considered broken. Over 37,000 enemy troops surrendered, including two major generals, several colonels, and the final functional armored division of the UDD Army.

Over 200 UDD vehicles were captured or destroyed, and seven military production sites were found abandoned and secured. Large stockpiles of fuel, shells, and blueprints were seized.

Spinnish engineers from the National Guard Combat Pioneers Division have begun conversion of captured infrastructure into forward operating bases, and mine-clearing operations are ongoing.
