I want to speak up

Guys, i want to ask something. How to increase your confidence and telling yourself not to overthink about everything, and take everything easy, not so tense?
I've been lot of trouble with myself with it. Like, what if i do something wrong? Am i rude? What if they're mad? What are they going to think about me?
Tbh, i was a hyper-aware person, almost aware of everything surround me and often overthink about it. I know what happens to me, it just hard to convience myself that it's okay, everything going to be okay, i didn't do something wrong.
Maybe just that. It's out of the blue actually, heh. I just feeling restless, so maybe once in a while venting a bit in here, and asking that and that.
Thanks anyway for you reading this. 😁

With how some people are, it can be hard to tell what's a joke and what's a legitimate pass.
    Apologies.

@Graingy it was more of a light hearted joke. After all, theres really no point in beefing with someone forever 🤷‍♂️, is there?

    For me…
Bro, human imagination is truly magical—so magical that it can automatically exaggerate catastrophic consequences. The more you dwell on these thoughts, the more anxious you become, because your brain is amplifying the outcomes. Ask yourself, "Is this scenario actually likely to happen in reality?" to stop your imagination from spiraling.

Of course, if your situation feels more severe, your brain will automatically magnify negative factors until they seem logically consistent. This happens because you’re too deep in it, fully convinced by these thoughts. At this point, self-reflection alone can’t correct it—you need to stop immediately. Don’t claim you "can’t stop thinking." Take a deep breath, look around, and count how many objects you see and their colors. This redirects your focus and breaks the cycle of overthinking.

Then comes the most crucial step—go do something. Your brain gets trapped in overthinking simply because it’s idle. Once you engage in an activity, you won’t have time for those chaotic thoughts. If your mind still wanders, you’re not fully immersed. Let me ask you—how to paint a flower?

If you think this is avoidance, consider this: Your real problem is overthinking and worrying without taking action. Your brain keeps inflating the problem—so act. Challenge your fears through real-world experience. No one is immune to mistakes, but what matters most is your attitude afterward. Start small. Test whether reality is as dire as your mind claims. Build your brain’s confidence—even if you slip up, it doesn’t mean it’s unforgivable.

At its core, my message is this: Everything comes from practice. Stop theorizing disasters and go live your life. You’ve got this. 💪

About people: don’t be bothered by their judgment on you, focus on yourself | how to stop/decrease overthinking: everytime your overthinking about something, always find a positive part in it.

Something like that, someone told me it doesn’t matter how you feel it matters what you do, and I haven’t really lived by that how I would want to but sometimes I like to imagine I was looking at my life from up above and wondering what I would want myself to do, like if it were a movie about my life

As far as actually increasing confidence or having less anxiety I’m still trying to figure it out

Honestly idk, the way I’ve kinda battled social anxiety is just to really want to and then just go for it, I think it helps to put away distractions such as a phone or games also
