As of right now, the YLF-45A’s development is back in full swing, the aircraft itself is flyable, but there are some issues regarding the flight model which need fixing. The aircraft’s fuselage has recently had a large amount of detail added, with more still to come.

Pilots

Because I value the ability of a group committed to a project, I am appointing 3-8 test pilots (depending on the amount of results I get). Here’s how it will work:

General test pilots

All test pilots will be given access to the 1.7.1 version of the YLF-45A, (the version currently in development). Depending on numbers, there will be 5 of you.
After being accepted, you will receive a DM on discord from me with further instructions on logging issues and other important information.
You will be my first point of contact when the aircraft is updated

VR Test Pilots

Because this will be a VR aircraft, I will need 3 VR Test pilots to ensure that the aircraft is fit for VR before It is posted. You guys won’t be able to use the aircraft in VR until the cockpit receives its simplistic control setup. You will be my second point of contact after every update to the aircraft.

Selection process

By clicking here it will bring you to a google forum where you will be asked a series of questions. They only ask stuff like what platform you use, your username and discord contact. This will be a sort of ‘first-come, best-dressed’ situation, where the fastest replies from reliable people are the most likely to be chosen.

Results

The forum will be open until next Wednesday evening (time will be specified on forum), during which time, all nominations will be looked over and either accepted or denied. I have NO BIAS and will not choose someone purely because I know them Even if you don’t think that you will get in, just fill it out anyway, you never know…

I do hope that people care enough to enter themselves into this, it is meant to be a way of further enhancing this aircraft which has been undergoing steady development since 2022.
