The Great Operation Begins

On an earlier date, in this year of 1946, a fleet of jet bombers of the Ding-Dong Air Force bombed the Spinnish city and Naval Base in the region of Brest. This was all in Response to the declaration of war upon the nation of Swisher-Man, although our only action against Swisher-Man was an aircraft carrier strike. The Unity of Ding-Dong’s attack against our Northern fleet will not be taken lightly.
The Republic of Spin has officially declared a state of war against the Unity Ding-Dong.

Casualties From the Attack

After the Unity Ding-Dong had attacked Brest, massive losses were found on our side of the incident. Originally, 57 Conquistador class destroyers, 2 1935 class destroyers, the RSS Vanguard (Orchis class battlecruiser), 9 Gato class transports, and 20 U-boats were docked. After the attack, 9 Conquistador destroyers were sunk, and 2 were heavily damaged, the RSS Vanguard was heavily damaged being the primary target of the attack, and 1 U-Boat was lightly damaged. The nearby airfield held 40 GB-9 Furias, 6 GB-10 Falconets, and 56 GB-4NB Super Screechers. 20 GB-9 Furias were lost, 5 out of the original 6 GB-10 Falconets were lost, and 27 GB-4NB Super Screechers were also lost.

Naval Deployment

In retaliation to the attacks, The Republic of Spin has launched a great offensive operation alongside its official declaration of war. Since 2 aircraft carriers are on deployment in the Mid-It-Terrain-E-Yeah-N Sea and another outside of the region, two aircraft carriers remained in port. Both of which have been deployed to the Angle-Ish Channel with 40 destroyer escorts. Our nuclear submarine, the RSS Perseverance has been sent to the Angle-Ish Channel too, and 14 diesel submarines have been deployed with it. All Angle-Ish ships, both military and trade (excluding commercial) are to be destroyed upon sight. The majority of our transport vessels were relocated to Brest to prepare a later amphibious assault, accompanied by many other vessels.

Aerial Deployment

Over 800 GB-8 Bullhorn Heavy Bombers were put in our Northern territories to be stationed there for an unspecified amount of time. 754 of these bombers were used in a high-altitude bombing of Unity Ding-Dong’s capital city, Lun-Dun. The city was lit into chaos as over 700 heavy bombers dropped hundreds of thousands of pounds of ordinance on the city. These bombers were escorted by 430 GB-9 Furias, and 75 GB-10 Falconets to fend off enemy interceptors. Later on, 70 IKB bombers imported from No-See Jerry conducted precision bombing on Unity Ding-Dong’s naval bases and infrastructure along its Southern coast. These bombers can fly well beyond the service ceiling of Unity Ding-Dong’s interceptors and AA, making them very frustrating targets to deal with. At the end of the air raids for the time being, 59 GB-8 Bullhorns were shot down, as well as 12 GB-9 Furias, 2 GB-10 Falconets, and no IKB bombers.

Army movement

The Republic of Spin has transported 47 Kaiser heavy tanks to our Northern coast via railroads. It will take some more time to move the remaining planned 80 Kaisers. 54 LIMA-1A1 Badgers, and 12 LIMA-1A7 RAMA’s were also moved to the area. Prior to this conflict, Churro Zapato ordered many SPH’s to be moved to the area to persuade Bell-Lands into dropping trade restrictions. Now, these SPH’s will be used as a last resort against an invading fleet of ships. For the time being, 50,000 infantrymen have been stationed in the area too, and more units will be moved as well.

Diplomatic Action

The Spinnish dictator, Churro Zapato, wishes not for this conflict to escalate beyond what’s happening. The Republic of Spin never backs down and will continue with a brutal war. We are determined to accomplish our goals, and anyone standing in the way will be met with an overwhelming military force. If the Unity Ding-Dong wishes to pursue negotiations and diplomacy, we are open to such ideas. If not, you better know how to defend against the largest and most effective military.
