The White Pass and Yukon Route Class DL-535E is a class of narrow gauge Diesel locomotives that were custom-built by the Montreal Locomotive Works. they were built between 1969 and 1971 for the railroad.
these are one of my favorite locomotives, and my favorite narrow gauge rolling stock.
they were the last narrow gauge engines built in the US (and for the US).

Don’t bring up the MP2000NGs. yes the 2 MP2000NGs were the last narrow gauge engines built in the US and for the US but they are both failures and will not be given that title
finally did one for the DL-535E
