Some random stuff that came into my mind...

basically abt SP2

so uhhhh my zone-outing imaginative brain randomly generated some stuff that certainly not going to be in Simpleplanes 2... and putting this in the SP2 FAQ would be too space-taking for the devs to see other comments in the FAQ.

    [Campaign/quests mode]

the campaign may be structured in the usual level roadmap, but a sub-mission, or a side quest may appear in which the player requires a specific aircraft built like how combat quests work in SP1. In free roam while flying around the map, the player may also get a message that friendly AIs (mostly planes) are needed

    [Infantry AI & dismountable aircraft]

    I'm sorry if I offended anyone by saying this, but sometimes being in a plane, car, tank, a flying egg, is kind of boring, dismounting your craft with FPS elements would make the game a bit interesting. infantry AI, working in squads, randomized weapons (including shoulder fired RPGs) and sticking closely to convoys would also make air-to-ground engagements more exciting and interesting.

    [More and refined AI enemies]

While I mentioned AI Infantry, finding convoys are just too boring (once again, sorry if I offended anyone by saying this), and the air defenses are just too bland, having the convoys defended with IFVs, fast firing SPAAs, and detailed SAMs would once again make it interesting. Also, gun emplacements in all kinds of weaponry with randomized spawns in some areas of the SP2 world will force the player in high alert. And for air targets, make them smarter, employ some real world tactics, especially if they're in pairs or squadrons.

    [Wingman/squadron system]

Wingman system would probably work like how CoH3 or any other RTS controls their units, like if you want your squadron to go into an attack formation, you would open a hud like GTA5 weapon system to see some commands, for the squadron/wingman's craft, you'll select it from your saves.

    [BOSS FIGHTS]

In free roam, you might encounter aces, and the more dangerous the locations in SP2 is, the more experience those aces are, some of them might want to understand their enemy. They could be a squadron, pairs, or just solo. For their crafts, pre-made by the devs or saved downloaded planes.

    [more details to map and buildings]

not really detailed, just some locations for players to fly through, like tunnels (underwater included), a few buildings, some 3s. Also some friendly or hostile crafts may be stationed in airbases. and for buildings, they would be destroyable, but the damage model is just a garbage pile if a Boom 50 hit.


I'm not asking these to be added, these only came up in my mind (I think i would get criticized for this?), and this would also take up disc space.
