Right off the bat, this is only to gauge interest. As far as I am aware there is no currently ongoing project of such nature being worked on by Simpleplanes Aerospace.
So, with that being said, is there interest in such a project?
Mid-tier Personal Computers existed at the beginning of the 1980s. The Commodore 64 rather famously cost less than $100 dollars just a few years after release. Though most Computers cost a lot and usually was for commercial or hobbyists, the ability of this class of computers to be able to do a great many things, while not being overly expensive, makes them appealing to more people.
Do you think I should pursue this opportunity? I'm not entirely inexperienced with Computers (See: 2024 Optiplex 240), so there could be potential here.
