So I've found a simple bug in the game right now. if your vehicle takes any damage. even something like losing a single air brake. the engines (at least for jets) will stop producing thrust. only showing the animation and sound but not making you move.
I dont know... I ran a test by having a 1000lb fuse block drop from each wing a diving into it. I used my delta winged planes (because they have multi part wings and have best chance of surviving the hit). I lost parts from both wings on both tests. However, the engines still worked. For the record: as long as the cockpit is connected to a part containing fuel the engines should still work.
@Bobjoezonehill So far as I know. the largest jet. and hte 2 square ones have this. and other's are saying about other parts not working as well.
Which jet engine type?
I messed up my speed brid plane and my model of the ME-262 (both use med jets) and they kept going, abiet unstable (fatally so with speedbird).
And usually the rotators as well
