With the Rebellion ended, the Retronian citizens were safe. Until now. The People (as usual) were mad on a guy not liking something. A coup happened and, the new government wants to destroy Veridisia and entirety of Snowstone, targeting the Death Goddess.

RRAF = World domination.
The Mercs fight by the usual charge and pray tactic. Where they rush into the enemy's post and expect a good ending. The Mercs can also do Guerilla warfare.

You heard me, hired guns. They come from Plus corp and The Global Opportunity Corp.
Plus Corp mercs (mainly referred as Ordens) wear Spec ops gear and uses the CIM Insignia. They use the Velata V-88S (AKS-74), a cheap but loud rifle produced during War-K.
Global Opportunity Corp Mercs (aka Kenz Goons) wear Spec ops Gear (albeit different design) and uses the Crossed Veridisian flag as their insignia. They use the HK MP5A3, a Decent SMG ported from earth.
