Challenge: show proof of the website working on strange devices

53.0k abcdefghjklmnopqrstuvwxyz  1.1 years ago

Eh, works on the 3DS internet browser and the iPod touch, Now you show what thing you can get it running on! Now lemme try and getting it running on the DSI browser and a homebrew internet browser on the Wii

Doesn't work on DSI browser, though it may just be something that went slightly wrong

    @TalonTheCRTguy I would find the model number and find the exact PSU that came with it. Those old prebuilts usually have proprietary power connectors, so if you just drop in an off-the-shelf PSU it might not even work. Maybe find the model number and search for PSUs compatible with it if you need to upgrade your wattage (like if you're adding a GPU).

    @TalonTheCRTguy yeah if you need a GPU go ahead, although in my experience using a GT710 they aren't great at anything very intense. I use one for running a live stream somewhere, and it hits 80% usage just running a streaming software at 720p resolution. The SimplePlanes experience would be interesting to see as it is technically within the minimum specs I think

    @TalonTheCRTguy it's a GT710, those things are ancient, and after the shortage they've gone incredibly cheap

    @TalonTheCRTguy yeah I guess
    I think they got Nyan cat on YouTube running on something like it, though it could've just been edited, can't be too sure what they are doing with that. Especially since it's YouTube on a 8 bit machine

    I see. I don’t think I have any devices that would work for this then.

    The fact that I am typing here is enough proof for me. I type, therefore I am.
