Make this forum post sound more friendlier and good for the rulesWhen I heard about SimplePlanes 2 while on the bus home. My heart almost skipped a beat. Felt like my heart slipped on a banana while wearing Healy’s, so like all others I was initially excited and looked and went on steam, and when I was there I found a sentence that got me skeptical when it said also this about backing up planes from here to SimplePlanes 2
“We are doing our best to support as many crafts from SimplePlanes 1 as possible, but we cannot guarantee that every craft will work exactly as it did in SimplePlanes 1.” That sentence was in regards for this sentence earlier “Fly your SimplePlanes 1 crafts in SimplePlanes 2 with no fuss, no extra work, no shenanigans. Breathe new life into them by upgrading them with new parts and textures”.
Can I just say that it’s confusing ? Because if it works it works how wouldn’t it? Were they referring to walkers and older builds. Because if they did then it would’ve made sense. And I’m not here to debate about the miracle that’s happening in 2025 but do you wanna know something else that can be a problem multiplayer.:
MULTIPLAYER
multiplayer! While we're all excited to explore and create together, I got a feeling that some players might reenact real-life events that could be hurtful or sensitive to others. I'm worried that reenacting events like Air India 182, Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, and Pan Am Flight 103 could be perceived as disrespectful to the victims and their families. These events were devastating terrorist attacks that resulted in the loss of many lives, and we should be mindful of the impact reenacting them could have on others.
Let's focus on creating a positive and supportive environment where everyone feels welcome! I'd love to see some guidelines for multiplayer that would help us all have a great experience. Jundroo, could you please consider adding some rules to SimplePlanes 2 multiplayer, to help us keep our community friendly and respectful?
Overall feelings: I think pretty much I would stick to this version of sp but I Don’t mind sticking around for sp 2

Yes. My overall feeling is that I will have play simple planes 2 first, and see how it is. I will definitely play it, and then I can decide more. Yes, there are definitely things that will need to be improved, like this. But overall it looks much better. The ocean looks amazing. My hope is that they will try and compete with flyout, and add a cross sectional editor. That would be amazing.
My overall opinion is that I prefer SimplePlanes one, but I happily oblige to come to SimplePlanes 2.
Yes. And assuming this will work on a server basis, this will push all the trolls to less serious servers where trolling like that is not punished, and it will push all the good, serious people to more rule following servers.

I think there should definitely be a moderation system. Assuming you can host your own servers, like in the multyplayer mod today, the owner would be able to ban people, and assign other people (who they trust) as moderators too. That way, trolls can be banned.
@TheMouse how would you feel if you were a SimplePlanes to multiplayer server minding your business and see a 777 with the mh370 livery following your every move then what?
