if you take off from the wright airport and head west make sure you go past the island and continue heading west until you see "ye have made a grave mistake" then look for a fast pirate ship and take it out its a pretty fun mini fight :)
im not good at explaining things and if you dont understand try looking it up on google or youtube or anything you use but enjoy the little tip :)
If the missiles perform significantly better than default (and it doesn't require you to download a mod) then it's most certainly overload. Destroying things with overload is piss easy, and nothing to brag about.
S.S.S Warspite's main battery basically one-shotted the Pearl, as it uses multiple Overloaded wing guns each firing in rapid bursts of 10, with each shot dealing 500 damage. Also the muzzle velocity is extremely fast, something like 5000 m/s.
One "shot" (10 bullets) from one gun deals about 5000 damage. From a wing gun.
Overload is insane.

Sure, you can make parts insanely powerful but the game still hates you.
Tip: If you want to turn a fuselage into another fuselage with the same dimensions you can change its part ID or whatever it is.
For example, Fuselage-Body-1 into Fuselage-Hollow-1. Or Fuselage-Glass-1 into Fuselage-Glass-2 (hollow), if I'm remembering the names right.
Another is Wing-3 (primary wing, supports control surfaces) into Wing-2, which keeps the ability to add control surfaces but makes the part rigid (also changes shape of surfaces? May be aerodynamically different idk).
Keep in mind that changing part types destroys all connections so be prepared to use the attachment tool to reconnect things afterwards.

@Graingy god damn bro I didn't know a Lego had that much power but now I get it I honestly never knew simple planes had a built in modder or something and if I figure out how to use it correctly I can boost a prop plane to a speed around 763.035 mph (I looked the fastest speed recorded) to add a bit more fun into the game without my dollar general slow computer crashing and shutting down the moment I enable a mod and thank you for this information I gratefully appreciate it :) I learn something new every day.

Gun leading was never my strong suit. At all. I was useless with them before predictor was added.
The damage from standard wing guns doesn't seem great enough to actually destroy the Pearl in any reasonable amount of time, at least with my aim.

That is one annoying fight.
It's so mindless once you get close since the cannonballs have horrible targeting. It can't hit you, and you can't hit it.
