Just today, after unveiling a new type of submarine, the president of the slavic republic, has begun increasing the rolling of reforms and initiatives in order to strengthen the slavic military, mobilizing 700,000 new conscripts in order to fend off the siren's hold of power within the area.

They have also begun mass producing aircrafts to prepare for a large scale operation, as well as defense. They have made conscription mandatory and have lowered the minimum age requirement from 21 to 19. Soldiers will now be trained extensively with new and old weapons, to ensure that when stock of new weapons run out, they can utilize old ones with maximum efficiency.
Stock Market investments in the Republic has also attracted some wealthy investors, getting much more needed resoures in order to support the war effort.
Grass fields are now being cut in order to make makeshift airbases, training pilots in order to have them land anywhere, even rough terrain.
I mean, in their defence the whole idea of a (presumably eastern/made of post-Soviet states) ethnic republic is a pretty touchy subject considering what Russian propaganda likes to go after about "Ukrainian brothers" and whatnot meaning they should get final say on everything in the region.
I'd argue you aren't exactly entirely innocent either, even if you're innocent in intent (which I am going to give the benefit of the doubt and assume).
