The Convair NB-36H was a testbed for the Convair X-6 nuclear-powered bomber. It was used to test its reactor while it was live in the plane. The NB-36H was not powered by the reactor. It was retired when the X-6 was canceled, after $7 billion dollars had been spent.

The B-36 is the record holder for the longest wingspan of any combat aircraft.

I've actually been under a B-36 at the National Museum of the United States Air Force, so I know full well how big it is.
