I have read things that said before George Lucas created Star Wars, he studied a bunch of different languages to come up with words. Dagobah, for example, is from the Sanskrit dagoba, which means a hut. Yoda lives in a hut on Dagobah, which means hut.
Then, experimenting around with the Bing translator, I found this:
It's pronounced "Vodur," but it's the same word. Lucas just mispronounced it so we wouldn't figure it out.
If you lived in the Netherlands you would have known something more than us. You probably wouldn't have been as shocked when Darth Vader said, "I am your father."
