Whenever I try to make a plane with a jet engine, it does endless backflips upon takeoff. Can someone please tell me whats causing this and how to fix it?
If the main wing is higher than the thrust, you should make the COL behind the COM, and if your main wing is lower than the thrust, you should make the COL in front of the COM, and try moving them around bit by bit until the aircraft started to stabilize, cmiiw.
Center of mass should usually be in fromt of the cemter of lift. Just keep experamenting to figure it out.

Pobably due to the engine mass your COL is Back at COM
Make the front wings smaller, or the front heavier
