Bullet Arc Equation?

1,764 CallsignGizmo  one year ago

Does anyone know an equation for: Depending on how hard you are turning, and a range input, where will the bullet go? (With or without bullet drop for gravity)
This would be perfect for a gyro gunsight with a radar range finder like in the F-86 and I think the F-5.
(Look at the Radar Gunsight Wikipedia page for more info)

I know some xml stuff, or I guess more funky trees, but all I need is an equation.
And if you know anyone who could help, it would be great if you could tag them here.

Under further investigation I conclude (lol) that it is indeed possible, but I already assumed that, I just need someone with more that 2 brain cells to do it for me.
Check out the Wikipedia page on radar gunsights, and you’ll see what is required.

I mean where the bullet will be after a certain distance from the shooter.
Like how radar range finders worked I believe.

If you mean bullet drop, there is none. If you mean something else I might be able to tell you
