Hinge rotators and rotators + activation groups, please help

Is there an xml / funky tree / input to deactivate them once you use a selected group so that say for example im using hinge rotators for engine thrust vectoring pitch and roll but the craft can also vertical takeoff and land and that I dont want the main engines moving while I'm trying to pitch the craft forward and backward mid hover (the main vector engines move up and downward getting dangerously close to breaking against the ground on vertical takeoff), I need/want a code so that when you use activation group / activate 1,2,3,4,5,6,or 7 , it turns the rotators off instead of on and then deactivate whatever (same selected number)to turn it back on, if there's a way to do this please help

    @TylerThomason2 In the rotator control input field.
    I tested them both using rotators and they work just fine.

    @TylerThomason2 Then Activate2=-1 ? Pitch : 0 should work.
    Or Activate2=1 ? 0 : Pitch.

    @TheFlightGuySP okay so left and right vectoring engines both have no activation groups , the craft can use vertical takeoff when you activate group 2 and Pitch upward but the problem is the rear engines move downwards hitting the ground when u pitch up too fast so I want them to be deactivated when group 2 is activated
