@Bellcat probably yes now actually, after yoinking the casemate off, it looks like I might be able to do something with it.

@TemporaryReplacement, so that is why you did not make a tank version. Are you planning to make a tank version with an oversimplified turret?

@BogdanX I think it’s because of how the wheels are placed, but when I enabled hide rims, (correct me if I’m wrong, I think “big wheels” is referring to the “tracks” rather than the road wheels) There wasn’t much difference. Thanks for telling me about this though.

@Bellcat I did plan on making a turreted “original” version of this, but since I’m lazy, for now I’m just gonna say that it actually had an original chassis, but production numbers were cut short due to costs/inconvenience. Or something like that. Idk yet. (WW2 btw)

@RepublicOfCursedPlanes, a tank destroyer is any vehicle designed to engage tanks and are not self propelled artillery. Tank destroyers can be of any chassis and armor levels, depending on the doctrine used in the design. It doesn’t have to be tracked vehicles with guns mounted in casemates, for example:

    • American tank destroyers, in contrast to other armies’ tank destroyers, have turrets, but cannot be used as normally as frontline tanks because of their thin armor and open-topped design.
    • Wheeled tank destroyers exist, and modern tank destroyers are mostly wheeled vehicles.
    • The tracked vehicle with a gun mounted rigidly to the hull, the Swedish Stridsvagn 109 (retired), is considered a main battle tank, not a tank destroyer, because it’s role matched any other tanks in Swedish combat doctrine, in spite of it’s severely limited gun traverse.

So the tank destroyer is itself a tank...?

Postwar or WW2? Most Tank Destroyers come from normal tank chassis, but this one is unique, in that it doesn’t have a normal tank version.
    .
@asteroidbook345, more like a weapon of tank destruction. XD
