I've been wrapped up with a lotta irl stuff since my last update and what free time I've got has been spent in Typhoon's NWRP server either building stuff specifically to sell to peeps with magic money or taking requests to build variants or upgrades of stuff. Its been decent to say the least.
Also while you're reading this, Typhoons thiiiis close to 40k points so give him that attention so he can pass me. He deserves that much

But with all that said, the new Series 2 Žaneta (or the Žaneta 4) has gotten itself an upgraded variant plus a few odd sidegrades meant to fill some niches.
Lemme start off with the finished Žaneta 4 (U), or P.020d(U)-128m, and its three major changes:

Here she is in the typical factory grey while in a urban setting.

And here in a lovely new forest green for when in service while in the designer.

The main focus of the first change was up-armoring the turret to give significantly improved protection, mostly thanks to feedback from people in Typhoon's NWRP who ordered the export version of the Ž4 I'll touch on later.

As you can see, theres a lotta air in the armor to help protect from chemical projectiles and darts on top of the existing armor from the original Ž4 turret.

Heres the second change

I radically redesigned the engine deck so it didnt look so ugly and unnecessarily raised. At least this way it looks perfectly presentable and allows new turrets who dont need bustles so tall to work properly.

And finally, the third change

I designed a brand-new 128mm smoothbore gun with some very detailed references from the German Rh-105 gun found on the Leopard 1 MBT while being catered to the limits of the Ž4 turret interior.
This was followed up by redesigning my grossly outdated ammo I was using for most all my past guns

While only a reference prop to help get the scale of the ammo stowages right, it helps to make it look presentable at least.

This wraps up everything noteworthy I gotta say about the new Series 2 Žaneta variant, now lemme ramble on about the weird variants!

Lets start with the export Ž4, the E.005a-128m. Its functionally identical to the Žaneta 4 thats been uploaded save for not having the Parkuns APS and being in the green forest paint scheme.

Next comes the APC variant, essentially me taking the turret off a Ž4 and slapping a casemate so 6 men can ride inside. It required the moving of the engine to make room for an armored escape passage, though at the moment its still half done.

In the lovely forest green is a SPG turret mated to the Ž4 hull. Using a new 152mm smoothbore gun, the variant is something that can relatively quickly switch between TD and SPG to show the versatility of the hull.

Heres the upgraded export Žaneta 4, or E.005a(U)-128m. The main change was mounting the Rh-128A8A1 from the upgraded Ž4 and redesigning the mantlet so it didnt look so weird.

Finally is an experimental asymmetrical turret. It would have only the commander in the turret without compromising his open-hatch visibility. The turret features an autoloader for the main gun and would feature a 50mm autocannon on the side of the turret facing the camera, just it hasnt been added quite yet.

Currently I still do have plans to build a gun SPAA with the Ž4 hull and have it being something similar to the SPGs "Plug-and-play" design where the turret could be placed via field crane into the turretless hull and not need many changes, hopefully I'd have the Ž4(U) uploaded before working on it.
And hopefully this'll get noticed, maybe wasnt the best idea to start writing it at midnight. Eitherway, hope whoever reads this enjoys!
