Recaptured Airforce base

In the week following the shoot down of a Braniff Airlines Boeing 747, an AC-130 Gunboat was sent to the location. After an hour of fighting, the AC-130 emerged victorious with only moderate damage, nothing that couldn’t be repaired. A memorial was set up where the cockpit slammed into the cold, snowy ground a few yards away from the Airforce base. A plaque stands on a stone pillar reading “We are dust and to dust we shall return”. The AC-130 was later renamed to “Flakpanzer”, renamed by a German general, because the AC-130 was fit with so high armor and defense that it is near impossible to shoot down.
