I think we could really simplify this by adding an "intake" option for an unconnected end of a fuselage piece. Air contribution would be standard, i.e., jets need 1 unit of air to operate, 1 square block takes in 1 unit of air, and circular/oval intakes would be calculated as appropriate.
Maybe a corner editor for these parts and other parts
This would be great!
