When I updated the weapons on my F-15C Eagle, I realized it didn't make a whole lot of sense to have the weapons changelog span across multiple posts, especially older ones. So I made this living document to archive all the changes I make to weapons.
[RD] Weapons Balancing Database V1.0
The XML values used are roughly based on what is already used in game for the Interceptor, which is the baseline for a medium range AAM, and the Guardian for short range AAM's. As such, they aren't completely true to life, especially in the range department.
The main goal of V1.0 was standardizing the weapons and keeping their XML values saved for reference. The main change from before is greatly reduced maxFuelTime for all missiles. If fired at maximum range at a target that is flying away, they will likely run out of fuel, which adds some semblance of gameplay to BVR in SimplePlanes.
It's also there so I can take any suggestions for changes to the weapons or if anyone wants to play along and make weapons that are balanced against mine.
The Su-27S Flanker-B was released with this already in place, but the F-15C Eagle, F/A-18F Super Hornet, and F/A-18E Super Hornet -Maverick- have now been updated to use WBD V1.0.
The reason why the F-16C is not going to be updated to WBD V1.0 is because I'm actually working on updating the model.
In retrospect, I'm not sure why I didn't use the partial hollow fuselage technique to smooth the transition between the main body and the wings, but it's there now and it looks way better.
I also changed the horizontal stabilizer slightly, making it more accurate.
And of course, the weapons will be updated.
Good thing I found this database via your F-16, cool idea!
I like the simplicity of explosion scales for bombs you set here. 1 for 500lbs, 2 for 1000, etc. It's also certainly less lag inducing on mobile than my current system (which uses the default value for Boom50 as the basis), so I think I'll adapt it. Thanks for the post!

Also, are you referring to this? As far as I know, there are no decent technical drawings for this concept

Also I have something to go off of for the Mitsubishi F-X you might find helpful, its pretty much supposed to look like the YF-23. That or its literally just a derivative of the YF-23.

@TheWeebREBORN Nah, I'm an F-15 guy. F-16 is up there though. It's not really a remake, more of an edit. The viper is probably the plane I've remade the most.
