SP Combat Under Fire, A Tutorial.

Being shot down by your enemy too quickly? Can't figure out how to stop that fuel tank from exploding after catching on fire? Or just here to learn how to keep your craft steady during a rough flight?
Sit down, let me teach you something.

Combat isn't easy, especially with that plane you built in 30 seconds with 3000HP and half a gallon of gasoline.

To beat the enemy, you must BE the enemy.

Use a similar plane as them,

Learn their flight patterns and tactics; and go against them. Even use their own tactics against them if your plane is capable!

Flying under pressure is difficult, especially when you have a fuel leak out of the left wing and your engine's on fire.

Here's a tip;
Your engine is more resilient when it isn't working hard in SP.
If your engine is on fire, lowering the throttle down to idle or close to idle should fix the fire within up to a minute.

While your engine is at idle, use any altitude to your advantage, as you want to keep speed up especially if you're in a dual-engined aircraft.

If you're in a dual engined aircraft and you have a semi-realistic interior/activation groups, Disable the burning engine. It will act as a natural fire suppression and will keep you from going down in a fiery blaze.

Wing damage can affect flight performance severely and attempting to pull off dangerous stunts and maneuvers with a damaged aileron or whole wing can cause extreme difficulty, especially if a tail wing is missing or damaged.

If a vertical tail wing is missing, cease any dangerous maneuvers and keep a 30-60* bank at all times, this will lower your chance of being sent into a spin as you are using your wings as a substitute. This will not completely fix the problem as you will have to be careful, And if you are in a dual engined aircraft with one engine running at less power than the other, whether that be due to damage or customized throttle, be sure to level out the throttle levels and/or bring the engines to low speed or idle. This can upset the balance without a vertical wing and can bring you down in a spiral.

If you find yourself spinning down to earth slowly but inevitably in a dual engined aircraft, attempt to bank your aircraft while putting max power on the engine that is closest to the inside circle, or to put simply, If you are spinning left, put all power to the left engine.

@Numbers2 This is made incase you DO get hit. It doesn't matter whether you're the greatest pilot in the world or a commercial airliner pilot, you will take a hit or two during your flight and this is made to prepare people for that.

Correct it does depend on how they were built but even then you test the plane in sandbox fix little dodgey errors then proceed to dogfight but in saying that the Ai is dumb thats why i want mp so i can do PvP dogfighting but in being realistic that may never happen with mobile @ZeroWithSlashedO

While yes, you got two points in a dogfighting, but what you have to know is that this is SP.
Planes also affects the fight. Specifically on how they were built.

NO THE REAL POINT OF DOGFIGHTING IS YOU DONT GET HIT IN THE FIRST PLACE! So you jinx if the enemy is approaching from the right you turn to the right. Use a similar plane to them... someone please help me... Its the pilot not the plane use your planes strengths to fight the enemy and use the enemy's weakness against them it works
