We've got a detacher attached to the cockpit seat and it ejects. But we don't know how to make the parachute 'stick' to the seat. Our parachute only seems to attach to other parts of the cockpit besides the ejection seat.

I found a way to attach the parachute. How i did it was to make the ejection seat before making the plane or cockpit. I made the detacher small and used the modern seat and i attached the parachute by making a connection to the seat and making it a subassembly and the made the cockpit and plane. Not really a good explication but thats how i did it
