An autopilot with which you can make more precise adjustments to heading, speed, altitude, vertical speed, perhaps even follow a NAV path.

So, if you're not in VR, I think it should be that pressing "enter", which currently toggles the wings level mode, should be your AP master switch. Then a bit of UI opens up in which you can define altitude, heading, speed, etc.

There should be a physical unit as well, which you can control in VR. Perhaps a bit like the Bendix/King KAP140.
