Don't use a jet engine until u r making a jet
Usually they are really heavy so use the overload mod and change the mass number to 0.1 and then it 2ont change the CoM and CoM(center of mass) must be at equal height as of CoT(center of Thrust)
And yep check the weight also

That's not about the wing type, but it's about the Center of Lift(COL) and Center of Mass(COM), in this game the COM should be infront of COL.
Although there's a more advanced way to make the unstable plane become stable but let's goes for easy way first.
