How to make detachable weapons/deployable vehicles that can use weapons. From Carrier Aircraft to SLBM's!

Since my last post was a bit of a downer here's a tutorial on one of the more advanced functional systems I've used. I've used the Winch part to make deployable weapons that can be manually controlled and made to use weapons themselves (mainly cannons). Weapons such as my guided torpedoes, SLBM's, a Submarine Launched Bomber, and even cannon-operated nuclear rockets

Those of you who might not have dissected and understood my builds might wonder how I've built such things. Well it's a matter of understanding connections. Normally if you were to say....have a plane that deploys off your aircraft carrier it would be unable to use weapons. After all, a weapon no longer attached to your build is treated as if jettisoned.

But there's a loophole...and that loophole is the Winch.

Here is a diagram indicating how such deployable vehicles and weapons can be made to deploy weaponry. The key is to use a winch set to Activate8 as the input with a very high Range and Speed. This creates a constant connection between any deployable thing and your build which allow allows detacher deployment. You will also want to remove mass from the winch as a measure to prevent possible breakages, especially on ships with their 'drop' spawn.

What this allows is for you to select that vehicle/weapon's onboard weapons as you would any other weapon and deploy them like so. So if you ever wanted deployable planes from your carrier to use weapons other than guns, this will ensure you don't need to use any extra AG's.

This even works with weapons. Simply attaching both a Winch and another weapon to the fuselage shown in the second diagram can allow for something such as a rocket which itself can deploy another rocket.

With a Winch attached and constantly spooling, your deployable plane/missile will be able to maneuver/be maneuvered freely while still being technically attached to the build.

Gunfighter and bombers, yeah could work but shame missiles wouldn't.

Still those detached planes can't use the guided missiles. Not properly at least, since 360 targeting angle and very long range extending to 20km range is guaranteed broken.
