Aerostyle Stories

These are short little stories form pilots of the Aerostyle Aviation Firm.

At 30,000 feet, the wind is cold and unrelenting. It pounds on the windscreen and makes the edges of the wings freeze up with ice. Looking around the beautifully designed cockpit of the Model 20, I was shocked to see how small everything on the ground looked. 'Echo-1, this is ground control. Everything checking out up there?' The radio buzzed with excitement. This was the maiden flight of the Model 20, and I was the pilot. It felt good to be free from the ground. I did a couple of maneuvers, mostly barrel rolls and loops. The airfield looked so tiny and insignificant. For fun, I swooped in low and buzzed the tower. They weren't happy about that. After about another half hour of 'testing' the aircraft, I came in and landed. Went to bed, slept for three hours, and then I got up again. I quietly went over to the hangar and looked at the Model 20. Staring at its beauty got me thinking. What other aircraft from Aerostyle would I get to fly?
