I've noticed for a while that its possible to have moving parts without it being visually attached to a rotator block. I already know about xml editing but making a simple landing gear proved more tricky than anticipated. The gear is attached but it just swings freely on an invisible rope. So, well, how do you make it work?

Attach a block to the rotator, and then put the gear on the block. Then nudge the block and gear into position. The gear will rotate based on the position of the block. Idk if that made sense.
